Really, for me, it depends whether I'm in a stitchy mood or if my boyfriend is making me do uni work :P but if I'm in the middle of something, as I am at the moment, I can spend all day doing it until I end up with a big bruise on my finger and close to repetitive strain in my wrist!

Some days I spend all day with my cross stitch but still manage to get little done. I get sidetracked easily so its really hard to judge a time. like right now I should be stitching but nope im on the internet. Or when im listening to the tv and stitching if it sounds like the show is getting good ill stop stitching and not realize how long ive been watching the tv. At least an hours worth of work time a day tho if i had to guess a minimum

I also work in bursts, but once i get a project in my head and all the materials ready to go I dont stop til its finished. I usually only work on a project when I have at least 3 hours to spend on it, but I think the most I've done in one day is 12 hours. During the week I usually work on a project for 3-4 hours before going to sleep, and then on Sundays I have all day to work on my projects.

I know this is a semi-old thread, but what the hey. I am lucky if I get four hours a week for projects, though I did once bang out a 5x7 in two days for my little sister's birthday. I envy everyone that has time on their hands... care to spare some?

As much as I can.. yesterday I stitched from 1 in the afternoon to 3 in the morning with a 20 minute break for dinner and about an hour to watch tv with my mom. I'm in love with this project I'm doing, what can I say? :) I lose track of time really really easily.

Normally though, I stitch about an hour at my lunch break and maybe around 4-6+ hours at night unless I'm doing something.

During semester I'll get maybe an hour or two over the week (depending on the week), and a few hours on the weekend everything else permitting. Now that I just hit holidays I've been stitching/sewing a few hours every day and racing through christmas projects :) I just have to be careful not to bugger up my hand with it, as its not used to it.
