How to convert thread colours to yarn?

Hello

Would anyone know how to convert cross stitch pattern colours to yarn colours? There are a couple of cross stitch patterns that I would like to have a go at crocheting but don't know how to change the colours to yarn.

I think you'll have to do it manually. Either gather up the threads and lay them next to your yarn or use something like this: http://www.yarntree.com/075dmcolors.jpg next to your yarn.

I agree with blackberrybear - manual is the way to go here.
The only time I've been able to convert from xs threads to yarn is when both were made by DMC, and even that's a difficult thing!
