Cross Stitch Software

What cross stitch software would folks recommend to buy? I want to take some jpeg pictures of cartoon movies and convert them into cross stitch.

I've only ever used PCStitch, but have been pretty happy with it. There's even a code floating around for a discounted price version

seconded. PCstitch works for any brand of thread for the colormatching, and the import tools have very high fidelity. I wouldnt work in in though, I do all my actual work in mspaint
