How do I make a pattern larger?

Post by zeldastitch10 »

Hi guys! This is my first post, but I have been reading the forums and working on patterns from here for a couple years. My question that I have to ask revolves around a little pattern I copied from a picture on google. I love it, but it's only a couple inches wide. I'd like to see it somewhere near 75-100 stitches wide, but I don't know how to keep the proportion, even with PC Stitch 10. I have attached the JPG file that I found, not the PC Stitch file that I made, since I don't know how to do that, and some folks might not have PCStitch 10 to view the file. Let me know if anyone has ideas about how to make this bigger!

Thanks!

Probably not ideal, but you can always do it by hand. Open a new file at 100 x 100 stitches, and redraw each pixel by eye in a 3 x 3 square, like this:

It takes a bit of attention to detail, but if you have them side by side and zoomed in it's not that bad.

Here is the pattern done as Funkymonkey suggested, in 3x3 squares. It come out to about the size your asking for.
