Funkymonkey's website and Etsy store!

Post by funkymonkey »

Hi guys, I submit for your approval my new website: http://www.eknightmusic.com and Etsy store. I just quit my teaching job and am going to grad school, so I am making these things in the hope of making a little pocket money while I'm in school. The website is my front for potential website development, photo editing, music, and craft services I would like to provide. If anyone is interested in my assistance with any of the above, please contact me! I don't have all of the tabs finished yet, but I wanted to throw it out there since I am also sharing the store link.

http://www.etsy.com/shop/GameCrafts I only have a few patterns on there so far, but if I get any completed pieces to sell, I'll put them up there as well. I'm happy to hear any feedback on the site or store. Enjoy!

The website is well designed and laid out. Looking forward to seeing some examples on the web development and photo editing tabs! Good luck with grad school, what will you be studying?

Thanks! Computer science. I hope to do something with both music and comp. sci, maybe music software?

Made a Facebook page for my GameCrafts store. Like it to see new items and anything else I find interesting :)

Long time no update on the website (since I finished school and started working) but I just added a new feature that I'm pretty proud of! A gallery view of all of my recent projects. My Etsy store has more patterns than actually completed pieces, so I wanted a place to display finished items that have either already sold or I made for friends (and occasionally for myself!)

http://www.eknightmusic.com/crafts/ Clicking on an image in the Gallery section will pop up a larger version.

I just finished up the jQuery for the pagination and so I'll probably take a break for the evening, but now that I've been clicking around, I think instead of "Page: 1, 2, 3..." I want to give the pictures categories (Framed Cross-stitch, Perler Magnets, etc) and have those be the links instead. Oh well, project for another day.

Let me know what you think!

I think the gallery looks great! I recognize most of your work. I don't think you ever posted the Blargg hot pad on the forum! I am totally in love with it. And what a clever idea for a hot pad. :D
In fact, I like it so much that I just made a blog post about it for Wednesday! I made a link to your website as well.
