Commissions?
So, it seems deviantArt users are in the process of beta testing a commissions feature where you can list your arts & crafts and sell them for "points," which are redeemable for real money through PayPal. However, they're going to be taking 20% of everything you earn. Yay or nay? Discuss!

Re: Commissions?
I guess it makes it more secure for the artist and client. Means less failed cases I guess.
I dislike because that means though that all the costs are going to jump to cover that 20%. Which will make people less likely to do them/buy them possibly.
I think 20% may be a bit steep though unless the offer some fantastic assurances to the seller.
I believe it is good for the large $100+ commissions that have a lot of work in, but for $30 ones seems a little silly.

Re: Commissions?
I forgot to mention that, if I understand correctly, deviantArt is placing a maximum cap of how much you're allowed to charge for commissions. $50. That means, if you sell something at max price, you're only going to get about $40 for it.
