Best Stree Free pattern maker

I was wondering, what people had for suggestions.

I like KG, but I always, ALWAYS have to change things and I'm never happy.

So i was wondering if anyone could suggest a free, or purchasable program that is BETTER. ^^:

I use a combo of KGChart, PCStitch, my eyeballs and common sense. Because there is no one program that wins, for me! I realise this isn't a lot of help, though!

My eyeballing never works.

I picked colors for Inuyasha and still needed help after. I just find it takes away from my interest when I can't get my colors to work right.

I've been using PC Stitch for a couple of years now. I've had no problems with the colours it picks. Sometimes they look really odd in the preview, but once stitched up they look fine.

I didn't like KG Chart very much, and I'm afraid I don't know of any other free programs.

PC. For some reason I have a feeling I used that.

But it won't let you print your patterns, correct?
