Can I quickly get a few thoughts on what you guys would like to do for the upcoming Jan/Feb challenge?
Some previous ideas:
One game challenge (same game for everyone)
Easter eggs (in-game type)
Genre swap
Babies
Funny takes on game characters
3D projects
Games re-imagined/improved
Mini Stuffies (under 6")
Original pixel patterns
Portraits - "traditional" portraits of video game characters.
It'll be a two month challenge so that gives a bit of time to do something a little bigger. Ideas welcome, but be quick!

Based on the choices presented, I opt for original pixel patterns or "traditional" portraits.

I'm trying to think of another idea to add... I'll let you know when my brain comes up with one.

So far, we seem to be in agreement. What would you pick, BMH?

I actually was thinking of the portraits.
This was the original suggestion from kuja.girl:
kuja.girl wrote:Portraits - "traditional" portraits of video game characters. I would make framing a requirement - either a stitched frame or a real one. This idea comes from these
awesome remixed photos.
If we were to go with the portraits, would there be any special rules people would like to include? Apart from the framing that kuja mentioned, I mean.

My only question is, when you say traditional portrait, do you mean a portrait like a person would get done at a photo studio from like the shoulder/neck up, but with a character from video games?

I think just any portrait-style image would be fine, either an in-game portrait (and many games already have those) as they suit stitching very well, or maybe just a cropped image of a character (this would suit other crafts, I think)
Not making a lot of sense this morning, I feel

I have no idea, but it sounds like it could be interesting
