JULY/AUG Challenge - Your Home is Your Castle!
Have you ever been inside a video game house and wondered what it would be like to live there? Or perhaps you have a favourite place to visit when on your adventures. "Your Home is Your Castle" is all about virtual homes. This could be anything from a house to an actual castle. Maybe you like the inside of a home or there's a favourite room you like to spend time in. Could be your house in Pallet Town, Hyrule Castle or anything you can think of. Whatever it is, I'd like to see it!
All crafts welcome as always, and you can submit as many entries as you like. Challenge ends 31st August!

Fun topic! Unfortunately due to self-imposed constraints I am not allowed to start new projects until I've finished some of my current WIPs... but since it's a two-month challenge, who knows if I'll be able to do something.

I'm with you Eliste, I have absolutely no time to participate in the challenge this month. Hopefully my schedule will be better in August.Eliste wrote:Oh man, I know exactly what I'd do if I had the time. But I really don't. /sadface

I can't wait to see what all you clever crafters come up with!

Oh man, I really wish I could cross-stitch right now. I think it would be really cool to put all the different 'starter houses' from the Pokémon series next to each other (or on a grid, whatever). So starting with your house in Pallet Town, then the house in New Bark Town etc. Ah well, maybe one day... (although obviously if anyone wants to run with that idea for the challenge, be my guest!)

Could it be a certain room?

I have a cute idea for this! We're moving this week, but hopefully I'll have enough time to finish it by the end of August.
Currently working on:
Tiki Room Cross Stitch
Large Skyrim Perler project
A quilt I really need to finish

I'm currently saving up to buy a house in Riften in Skyrim :p

I only just went to Riften this year, after my dearest sister sternly warned me to avoid it lest I become a criminal upon entry. My curiosity (and incomplete map) finally got the better of meQueenBex wrote:I'm currently saving up to buy a house in Riften in Skyrim :p
