Re: Planning ahead
Kirby! I love pink! Also Kirby makes pink manly so none of the male sprite stitchers' can complain & I will have an excuse to buy more pink floss.

Re: Planning ahead
I had a couple of ideas that could be for further down the road.
1. Someone pick a character from a game and figure out the floss colors for that character. (For example figure out the colors for Mario.) Then everyone recreates characters from other games only using those colors. (For example, Samus, but Mario colored.)
2. Do a 3-color challenge (like red, green, blue or something).
3. Equipment. The video game heroes would be nothing without their stuff.
4. One-inch or two-inch pictures. To make it more challenging, this would be a specific aida sized challenge.

Re: Planning ahead
To me, Miss Clawful's avatar looks a little bit like a person viewed through a keyhole (I have absolutely no idea why!) and I thought it might be interesting to stitch/craft part of an image, as if viewed through a key hole, or some other shape.
The only images I can find to explain what I mean better all seem to involve eyes, or are a little on the rude side... so here are the eyes.
Images through the keyhole could be close up of characters/levels/etc, or even depict scenes from far away.

Re: Planning ahead
I had a few ideas the other day and just wanted to add to the already great list of ideas.
1. Silhouettes- either the head, or the full body of a character made completely in Black.
2. Title Screens- either completing all or part of a title screen from a game.

Re: Planning ahead
I don't have any new idea, but i really loved the challenge that we exchanged a phrase and the other person had to guess the game and stitch something related to that. Maybe one day we could do it again

I just had another idea...
A pop art/ Andy Warhol video game challenge. Could be fun.
