Finished mine tonight as well. I had to sub a few colors because I didn't have them on hand, and I'm forcing myself not to go out and buy new threads. I think they all worked pretty well. After the picture I'll give a list of the colors I changed. :)

3818 -> 699
3843 -> 995
782 -> 931
3772 -> 3771

Everyone's doing great, very impressed!

It's time for pattern number two, pulled randomly from that dark and mystical place that is my Hat! (And believe me, it's not easy to pull small pieces of paper out of a large yellow cone.) :BM

I'll update the original post with the files as well so that they are easy to find for people.

Now, don't worry if you haven't finished the Super Mario Kart band yet - there's time to catch up or you can just do it in your own time. Even I haven't finished yet, thanks to my body's attempt to expel my lungs across the room at the speed of sound. But I'll be making some time to catch up this week!

Hope everyone is having fun and of course any questions or problems, you all know where my PM button is :D

Week 2 - begin!

Such a beautiful color palette. I don't remember seeing this one (I must have glazed over) during voting, but I'm so glad it made it! Looks so fun. ^_^ Can't wait to get started!

I'm not sure if this was mentioned but your own saliva can be used to get blood out.
Anyway, here is my first band - in crappy camera phone quality...I really need to find my camera. And upon further inspection I think I used the wrong color on the bottom of the red shell - I keep looking at it and it didn't look right. So I may go back and adjust.

Looking forward to week 2!!

Looks like I'm out for the rest of the SAL. I broke two of my fingers on my right hand, which is my dominant hand, yesterday while playing kickball. I'll be okay, but I'm out of commission for 6-8 weeks. Looking forward to seeing all the WIPs and finished samplers and I will finish mine once I'm healed.

I'm working on plastic canvas so I can take it to work without needing to use a frame.

LINK!!! NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

*ahem*

No really, take it easy, and get better. I've never broken anything (I'm too much of a wuss) but I hear that broken fingers are annoying. Make sure you get some pampering in somewhere.

I haven't been able to post a WIP because I'm wanting to do it on an 18 ct, and haven't had the money to buy a new one in the color I'd like. Hopefully this weekend. Maybe. I wanna participate! (Sorcerer's Apprentice reference! :wiz Love Nic Cage.)

Ouch! A damn pain, definately an excuse to kick back and get pampered though ;)
