Well, I was thinking it might be a nice idea to match the fabric, so I picked the colours from the fabric in the sample photo!
And as it turns out, it does sort look Sprite Stitch-y

For those that follow my blog you know I have been a little out of commission. I am back to 100% and I have my machine back! I have started on the charity quilts. I am working all day tday to try to get the second quilt top finished. I should have the first quilt top done by the end of the week. My goal is to get them 100% finished by the end of the month. Then I can send off the quilt for the charity dinner and we can post the auction for the second quilt.
Quilt 1 is the one being sent to the Penny Arcade dinner auction. I will mail it out on Monday.
Quilt 2 will be put on Ebay for a 10 day auction using the Child's Play site. The money goes directly to them and gets advertised by them. I am thinking of putting it up around Black Friday to kick off holiday shopping?
I also made a special label for the back with the year on it. That way each quilt we make each year from here on will be specially marked.
They are amazing! I'm glad we were able to get one in for the dinner auction - the PA guys go a great job with coordinating fundraisers.
edit: I have to share this. I posted the photos on Facebook (grass roots advertising) and it wanted me to tag the face from the Dune square (lol!)
