I like the new layout for quilt 2 - they're looking awesome.

Re: Stitching for Charity 2012
It's funny, when I was making my contributions to the quilt I never really thought about what the whole thing would look like. I was just focused on my little corner of it. Now that I'm seeing it all come together I'm blown away. This is going to look so great!
Also, I put a couple of projects I was in the middle of aside to work on this (I'm a slow stitcher). But now that I have no deadline hanging over me and am free to return to the old projects all I keep thinking about is getting a start on next year's stuff. I'll never get my 22- count Mario screenshot done at this rate!

Re: Stitching for Charity 2012
So I assume from no more comments that everyone is good with the layout of the two quilts. I am on my way back to Canada tomorrow, so when I get back next Tues/Wed I will take pictures of three different fabrics we have to choose from (that includes the one we picked last year) and will put up a poll for everyone to vote.
I definitely want to keep the fabric the same for both quilts. In addition to the certificate of authenticity, I will also add the year to the back of the quilt with my quilt label. I normally don't add the year, but if this is something we are going to do every year, I think it is an important addition.
BMH, if you want to start working on collecting the names of the games and who stitched them for your certificate, that is the layout I am going with. The sign up spreadsheet should be a BIG help this year.
Speaking of. If you signed up for a square and did not make it, please remove it from the spreadsheet. It will help make our jobs a lot easier.

Aelys, I got your squares finally today. So we have a 2 square headstart on next year! If you could, when I post the sign up for next year, please put them on it so we don't have a game repeat.

Re: Stitching for Charity 2012
As well as using the google doc (which I am), it would be really helpful if you people who stitched pieces could look at the layouts and give me your quilt and square numbers. Also the names you want to appear on the certificates. Some are obvious, I know! And I'm doing my best to update the doc but it would really save me thread-trawling!
For example, I would put:
Q1-14 SoulCalibur
Q2-3 Ecco: The Tides of Time
blackmageheart
Sherona Bauckham
Please and thankyou!
EDIT: Oh, nearly forgot. I need the game name for each square too! Editing my earlier text to include that!
