Pattern is up in the pattern section for anybody interested :

I also just changed the SNES pattern with the actual colors that I've used (forgot to do it yesterday, sorry!)

Well, I was hoping to finish my band tonight, but I bled on it... I put tons of water on it and dried it with q-tips, trying to absorb the blood. It's kind of ruined but I guess from far I won't be able to really tell. Thanks to my freaking dry hands....... :banghead:

Put on to-do pile for something that needs an awesome border!!!! :banana

It's not ruined! Use Oxy Clean. It is fantastic at getting blood out of things. :nod

I have had the same problems getting blood out of my stitching too, the sooner you deal with it the better, DO NOT let it dry, then you'll never get it out :banghead:

Once it got to dry, it's barely noticeable as this morning! I did take care of it as soon as I saw it, which I believe was in a matter of minutes, so that's really great, I didn't feel like restarting...

I'll try Oxy Clean next time, I was scared a product would hurt the colors of the floss, but I'll trust your experience Starrley! :)

I decided to do this as it looked so much fun and because I've never been a part of a SAL before. Here's what I have. I don't have all the colors, but I'm going to dig through what I have at home and see if I can't find something that will work in place of them. (I'll have to do that tonight, as I'm over at my MIL's house doing laundry). I also lightened Toad's face 'cause I thought it was too dark.

I'm thinking of attempting a blackwork border around the whole thing when I'm done. I'm also super worried that the fabric I'm using isn't going to be big enough to hold all the bands. I'll just have to see when I get there, but I think it should work.

I was going to make some sort of border out of these, but I don't think my fabric will have room for them. Use if you'd like!

Finished my band tonight. I LOVE the 'nana peels but the two characters didn't turn out nearly as well as I was hoping they would. Let's hope the rest of the bands will work out better in reverse colors. LOL!

MeiTow, I spent years running photo labs. I've developed a freakish skill at seeing things in both positive and negative at the same time as a result. Your band is eerie and beautiful and 100% spot-on. :wiz
