i'm glad i decided to only do the mini. it took a month just get an idea because i didn't feel any connection with my swappie and what he/she liked, so i was unmotivated to do anything. now i'm half way through it and only managed that because i had this labor day weekend to help. i hope i can finish it in time.

I had the opposite problem: I had a lot in common with my swappie. I went through I think ten ideas before finally settling on a pattern. This is the first year I didn't have to ask my boyfriend if a pattern was accurate though! (He's played more of the early zelda games than me, so I always had to ask him questions XD)

Just waiting on the last of my supplies to get here, then I can devote several hours of each day to stitching and hopefully be done before this month is over ^^
