When I googled minimalism I noticed a lot of artists used geometric shapes so I used that as my inspiration. Can't wait to start stitching after the kids go to bed!

I just got my patterns finalized last night. Pretty stoked. They're going to end up quite large tho. I chose a game the boyfriend is very fond of and he wanted BIGGER lol Need to make a material run after work, then I can start.. Hope I have time to do this!

Here is my entry:

I used 5 colors and as you can see, I've not filled in the entirety of the stitch.

Y'know, I was going to skip over this month's Challenge. I couldn't picture minimalism, and there's always so many other things to work on.

But then some of your entries started popping up, and as I often find with this site, I was inspired. I can't say how much I love that everyone's efforts push me to try things I never would have otherwise!

Anyhoo, here's my entry...

It's on 14ct plastic canvas, 2 colors (not counting the sig). I plan on gluing on some white felt to the back, then magnetic strips. The game is pretty obvious, no?

Mainlander - OMGEE I MUST do that pattern, I loved the game, and I love the myth and I love the design of the wolf/fox. Just tell me the colors you used I can build the pattern in my pattern maker. (Of course I won't sell it or anything, I just want to stitch that!)

Jatz - I have NO idea what that is too. Please enlighten? Still looks spiffy as all get out tho.

Starfyre - I love the idea of the minimalism being lacking in filled in shapes. It looks amazing!

Wow, I thought I had a good idea and you guys totally top my expectations! It is so inspiring to see what you guys make. (Gush, gush, geek out, gush.)
