I finished page 1 and moved on to page 3 on my Story of Seasons block. That's coming along well, even though I inadvertently changed a shade of brown to a different shade of brown

I'm still doing more today, but I just got an Etsy order in so I have to put it down and take a break from it.

The past two years I have tried to contribute to this quilt but I kept putting too much on my plate to finish. I am going to try one more time. I am not contributing to any other charities this year so I am confident that I will finish this before 2017.
I will be stitching Ridley from Super Metroid. Technically I've already started (and re-started) this piece a few times.

I need to find a good image to patternize though. I love the loading scene where Spyro is flying along a pastel background xD Or even the start screen, but I can't find any good images :/

Hi guys! So this is my very first post. This is also my very first go at creating a pattern. I decided to go with the beginning of one of my favorite games. It definitely got a little blurry after resizing it, but I think I'm happy with it.
Will this work and did I do this right? Followed all the tutorials and did my best. I attached the original photo (before I resized and stuff in gimp) just in case somebody else can do a better job of creating a pattern then I did. The pattern is attached as a pdf too. Any feedback or tips would be much appreciated! I wanted to post and get your opinions before I started because it was so nerve wracking creating a pattern.
Your pattern seems ok to me, you got the dimensions and ct all right! The most important thing is that YOU are happy with it. It's not fun to stitch something you don't feel happy about and just becomes a chore. If you did decide to make some changes, I'd be pleased to offer assistance! Just PM me if needed!
