JoAnn has some linen, but Hobby Lobby seems to carry more in the stitching aisle, they even have some nicer Zweigart stuff.

LOL, I do that too.funkymonkey wrote:I have taken to switching back and forth between linen and aida recently; every time i switch i'm like yesss this is so much better, then by the end of the project i'm like man i need to go back to the other one; haha.

I love it when "Past Me" does awesome stuff like that!qu33nofspades wrote: luckily past!me looked ahead and stored away a good deal of materials.
The Zweigart stuff is really nice. It's worth the price. You might find some good deals online.funkymonkey wrote:JoAnn has some linen, but Hobby Lobby seems to carry more in the stitching aisle, they even have some nicer Zweigart stuff.

Re: APRIL Stitch-a-Long - Samplers
Now I'm not sure if I'll be able to do the stitch-a-long, but I did place my votes, and get this, no NES picks! A shocker for me. There are a lot of really good ones to choose from, but I didn't pick 8 of them, only my absolute favorite 4, those I that kept me fixated on the most. One Genesis, two from the SNES, and get this...a pokemon one!

Beyond the Pokemon sprites themselves, there are a lot of pretty background sprites in the Pokemon series. There is a small flowering bush that I thought would make a fun random thing to stitch.

Thank you for all the votes so far. It's a very interesting contest! I can't wait to reveal the top bands.
And with that, here's a friendly reminder to all you peeps who have not voted to do so before the end of Saturday! If you use the link in the Site Announcements, it will take you to my earlier post with the Google form link and the downloadable zip containing the previews. Get your votes in as soon as you can!

Difficult choices! I had five for sure then had to really think for the last 3

BMH can you do us all crazy (and/or) stupid people who wantto stitch all of these a favor and post all of the patterns in the patterns section. I'm seriously going to attempt to make a huge sampler out of them all!
