It was a nice quick stitch, for me. yay instant gratification!
I think I'm going to wait until the whole thing is done before I do any bordering.
Working on:
Retro X & Y! - lost the pattern and fabric, but it's resurfaced :D ...and i've lost it again lol
Attempting Diamond Painting
Making like three crochet blankets at once #nolife
slowly amassing floss for the old-style Epic Pokemon

I REALLY shouldn't be adding any more prjects to my to-do list, but I can't help but think this stitch-along will turn out to be a wonderful sampler for my soon-to-be-nephew. Name, weight, and then birthday between the bands. So I'm in. :) I'll start on my next day off from work.

You know, that's a *really* good idea. :)

Out of all the types of fabric I have, I don't have the one I wanted for this project! Grrrr... My activities for this site (Child's Play, Star Trek) have increased my stock of 14 and 16 count but sadly, I haven't had a need to replenish much of my 18 count stock. And is it just me or is antique white a little too institutional beige? Off to the store this afternoon!

I generally go by color. I started with the shell and color 349, but then did all the other 349 stitches on the piece. And I always do black last. It seems a lot of people do black first and I like to be different :P

Sorry so pic heavy :sorry:

I'll probably be done tomorrow. Been a busy couple of days, so I haven't gotten as much stitching in as I would like to, but I will for sure be done by the time it's ready to start band #2!

Wow, awesome border! I had planned to just do a line of a border in between the bands, but yours is beautiful. I may have to get more creative. I also like the idea of using some filaments in there.

samarin, you are a living god. :wiz

Everyone's done so much! Because of our weekly jaunt into Washington for my spouse's in-office day, I haven't even gotten started yet. But today we're taking the kids to a homeschool playgroup for a few hours, so I hope to get it going.
Mostly hibernating here. Find me on Twitter @rmdcade.
