Yeah I have fond memories of wasting a lot of time with it, not sure if I ever completed all the levels but I got close! Was so dissapointed when it wouldn't run on windows 7, but then I found tileworld, which is basically a remake.

That's an awesome idea!
Thanks, I thought if the bands are from games, why not the borders too? The only thing is the colourful borders from the newer gens were quite wide compared to the bands, so I went with an older one.

I finally figured out what I'm going to do with the border. I decided against the blackwork as that was giving me too much trouble. Instead, I decided to use the mini-hearts and do a stitching border. My original idea was to do different stitches on each side, but I think this looks fine. Now to start stitching it. :D

Great idea! I'm actually doing something similar...but different. You'll see soon :D

Kareesh, I love your border idea! :)

I finished my fourth band and I'm just starting on my border (the bright blue. It's going to be blackwork, but pretty simple. I may take a bit of Kareesh's idea and put hearts in the corners!) For some reason when I designed Pokemon 5, I thought it was supposed to be 20 stitches tall. So I added Pokeballs to fill in the extra area. When designing, I went with what KG Chart picked. Once I actually stitched it, I changed it all up.

Thank you, guys. Took me a week messing with blackwork before this idea finally hit me in the head when I was trying to think of how to incorporate the hearts.

@BMH: Can't wait to see your idea.

Hey, can I ask a favor of everyone? If you made a color change in any of the bands, please post the band, original color, and the color you used. I'm trying to go through the thread and collect them all so that we can have an additional color resource document to go with the bands in the archive / wiki.

I have a range of floss of all different brands, some from kits and op shops that I don't even know the number for. I pick pretty much all of my colours by sight, not using the numbers and havn't kept track of the ones I have used so far. I make substitutions on pretty much everything... is it ok if I pass?

Of course! But you have to drop and give me 20 stitches. :P
