Re: APRIL Stitch-a-Long - Samplers

Updated initial post with a .txt containing all the games with bands so far.

There's only a few days left so if there's any more ideas get them in!

You do not, as far as I know! I've never noticed it trying to get online in the offline mode so you should be good!
You can play offline but you will miss much of the experience of the game by not having a partner, and it could also make it harder, but not by much. You can easily beat it in 2 hours (I think) so maybe see if your mom would mind you playing through it online once ;)
That might be a good idea, I could always do an in depth look around on my own later. Thanks!

More to the point of this thread question;
Do you already have a band with the sprite stitch logo?
Also;
Can someone suggest a couple of alphabets that might go well when we come to adding our names to these samplers?

I'll be providing some alphabets and SS logos suitable for the samplers, so don't worry about that! :BM

Awesome!

Just to clear a couple of points up (sorry just wanna make sure)

When this SAL starts will there be a fresh forum thread for the actual samplers? This one is getting quite full as it is!
If so could you make sure all the info you could possibly think of is in that first post! I am determined to do this and I am desperate not to get it wrong!!

Also, did we come up with a clear way on how to pick the bands? With all the excitement of so many wonderful band designs, I've forgotten if it was actually decided!

Sorry to be so annoying, I think that was everything, i'll shut up now... :sorry:

Yeah, I think I will. I'll rename this one again and drop it back into standard, and start fresh with a whole new topic. And yes, I will write as much info as I can in the first post, although as you know I'm always available for answering questions if I miss anything.

There'll be a vote on the bands (choose your X favourite bands) and I'll put the most popular ones into the Hat. Then out of those I'll draw random ones for bands 1, 2 and 3. Band 4 will be "Player's Choice" and will be up to you - choose from the full selection of bands (so if there's something you want to do in your sampler you'll have to submit the band).

I hope that all makes sense!

Love the DDR one! That was, like, the game back in high school. My friends and I spent hours at each other's houses playing it. *sigh*
