May challenge- A Black Mage Holiday!

I've been stifling giggles at work looking at the submissions. The vegas one is my fav just because of the last panel.

LOVE this challenge! I will definitely be following this board this month to see all the wonderful creations. I would love to make one of the black mage on vacation in Egypt (since that's my dream vacation) but alas, I have no idea how to make my own pattern, let alone making it look like a photo!

@ scarlet: I've never tried making this sort of pattern with real stuff in the background before either Normally I just stick to converting images. Give it a go, it may be easier than you expect

The ideas are looking good so far, I will really need to bring my A game =). I think I might try some live action shots and get a holiday in Canberra theme going. First I need to make my black mage, then find the time to go photograh it at all the iconic buildings. Possibly with some trick photography to make it look bigger than it is, we'll see...

Haha! I'm loving everyone's ideas! Won't be participating this month -- going to be focusing on my big project for now and after all the eye-strain induced by working on two projects at once, the boyfriend is demanding that I slow down a little bit... But I'm definitely going to be following everybody's progress! ^_^ So cute!

I am loving what you guys are coming up with! I won't be participating either, since I found someone who could give me clear pics of the Journey murals. I have an art project that might take me forever but what the hey - Journey helped me through a trough time in life.

I was planning on doing Black Mage up a mountain planting a flag and then falling down. I can't wait to see what ya'all do!
