I'm actually almost done the stitching for my project. I'm not doing something super huge (it's my first time) but it's REALLY cute and something I've never tried before. I'm really excited, you guys. :)
Pretty okay!

Current projects:
Epic Pokemon Gen 1!
More fractals!
Basketball pillows!

I bought some fancy aida to make my gift for my swapee, but the people I bought it from are really keeping me waiting! I've got the thread god to go and everything! I'll have to do some other things as well in case I don't get the aida in time.

at first i was thinking of doing something fairly large, but now i'm thinking i'm better off doing a lot of little things and seeing where it goes from there. so many ideas, but so little time!!

mmm I'm doing one small(ish) thing and one medium thing that I know of so far :nod :nod :nod hmm... there is going to be at least one more thing in there though. Have spent most of the weekend figuring out which characters/games to use - then what images etc etc I just don't want to get it wrong

I like the saying "Go big or go home," and since I already go home everyday, I figure I'll just go big on my swap gift(s)...

I mean would someone rather get one big gift, multiple small/medium gifts, or MULTIPLE BIG GIFTS???

I'm just saying... I like to spoil people.

The only question is, can I actually pull it off in time? That is still to be seen.

I think it depends on what the big gift and the multiple small gifts are. For example, my person would probably want me to make them a quilt (1 big gift) instead a bunch of cross stitch things (little gifts) or magnets. But I LOVED the assortment of small gifts I got two years ago.

I agree with tnitnetny. Just depends on the gift. I am making 1 medium/big gift and 1 smaller gift for my swappee. I hope they like them, I almost want to keep them for myself! Guess I know what I am doing next...making myself gifts lol

Yeah I agree.
But I'd also say it doesn't matter what size or how many - the fact that someone has made something specifically for you makes it special! :D

I'm soooo disappointed with the thing I was going to do. The result is very very bad, it doesn't look anything like I wanted it to be.
So, I'm starting all over again using a different method. I hope my swapee will enjoy it anyway :/

Also, I have trouble figuring out what is considered to be "a big swap", "a medium swap" or 'a small swap". I want to do something big for my swapee.
