I love the first one, Bex. The colors are more appealing to me and just looks nicer. :)

Agreed. The first one has a lot more "pop" because of the very different colors.

Cheers guys! My pattern maker has decided it's working again, so hopefully I can put it through with no hassle. It's always reassuring to know you all will be there to help if it goes amiss again :)

So I finally finished my square for this year. I'll take a picture of it in the morning when I have some good light as it is a fairly dark piece.
WIPs:
LoZ:LTTP Map (page 13 of 15)
Save the Stitches Blackwork
Frederick the Literate Kit
Butterfly Scroll Kit
Rainbow Gallery's Specialty Stitch Alphabet

Sorry if this is insanely huge. Will fix tomorrow. Super late but wanted to show that I have been working on my square, albeit a bit slower than I would like.

Edit: Fixed!

Got it done! Posted a pic in the completed squares topic.

The other one that I signed up for is the one that my mom is working on. She's gotten a bit done on it, but it's not likely that it will be finished for this year...so she's hoping to finish it for next year.

:bye: Hi, all. I don't think I'll have my square done in time for this year's quilt, but I'm going to keep trying. If I don't get full-time work in May, I MIGHT be able to get it done, but I just wanted to keep up-to-date and say how AWESOME everyone's squares are turning out!

Good luck!!! It's no fun to feel stressed about getting squares done, but at least they can be used for future years' if this year doesn't happen!
