Has anyone else come across such a mis-print? I don't expect them to be worth much or anything, just really puzzled as I have never ran into this, and upon many searches I haven't found anyone else who has

So anyone have their take on this subject?

Typically, the cards are perfectly legal to play in games, although you'll need to use card protectors so its not obvious. I've also seen times where misprints have become worth something due to the rarity of them, so who knows. (There's a card in Netrunner where one small print run has the mis-spelling "ssubroutines" on it, and those ones now go for more on ebay than the ones with normal spelling. People are weird.) I don't know anything about the Pokemon game, but in some they use different card backs for different types of decks. Make sure its not just that its a different card type.
If it bothers you, though, then you should definitely see if the Pokemon guys will refund.
