Animal Crossing: New Leaf
So a few of you have got this, I gather. I also got my little mitts on a copy, so here's a thread for sharing things about New Leaf! Now, it's been a long time since I played any Animal Crossing, so I'm going to just come at this like I'm new to it.
I got my tent set up by the river, in Bumville. (Don't ask!) Until I've done my adminininining and some other stuff, I won't be able to get more done. So if anyone else has stuff, I'd love to hear about it!

Re: Animal Crossing: New Leaf
I didn't get the figurine that came with it, I didn't pre-order it, to those who have, is it a good figurine?
I have my tent set up near a river too. Caught a seahorse and a makeral so far
Just to re-iterate, my place is called Laputa after one of my favourite ghibli films.
I have a shovel as well as a fishing rod and its nice to see the kept the treat of hitting rocks with a shovel to get cash, only found one cash rock so far, but that reminded me you can also shake trees to get cash too

I'm also set up by the river in Diaville (as in Diamondville, it fits with my surname). Unfortunately no fishing rod for me yet, just the net and shovel.
Thanks for reminding me about cash rocks, had forgotten about them.
Also, cherry trees for me

Well, with my lack of creativity it's either -ville, or-ton. And -ton sounds boring!

Re: Animal Crossing: New Leaf
Apologies for double post, but I was just hitting rocks with my shovel, in an effort to find cash, and it broke and produced an amethyst instead. So I now have one of those!

Ooo is that a furniture thing or a museum thing or just something to sell?
I have pear trees in Laputa, didn't realise that would be different for everyone.

From the icon, I think it's a thing to sell, but I'm not entirely sure... will let you know!

It's something to sell. An amethyst sells for 2000 Bells.
