I had my first school counseling appointment yesterday. It actually went well! I'm going to an anxiety and stress management workshop on Thursday, which I think should help! And I'm finally getting my eating habits back on track, which is good. But yeah! Just an update for anyone who might be curious :3
Last night I woke up, and saw my son standing at the foot of our bed, between the bed and our bedroom door. The bedroom door was still mostly closed, we leave it cracked about 6 inches, which was kind of odd because if either of the kids come into our room they push the door open. I sat up and asked him what he wanted. Then I realized that it wasn't my son. It waved at me, then disappeared.

Oooo encounters!! Be sure to wave back next time

Wow, super creepy! I once had a guy in a trench coat and fedora standing over me when I woke up, only to disappear after two solid seconds of me staring at him - but he never waved. Normally I chalk up this sort of story to sleep paralysis, but if you sat up to look, that doesn't fit with the normal narrative. Spooky!
Mostly hibernating here. Find me on Twitter @rmdcade.
Last night I made sure the camera on my phone had the flash on, and was one button ready to go. The shadow figure didn't show up (or didn't wake me up). Darn inconvenient.
Of course I fell asleep still giggling at the image of my wife waking up to me running through the room and house:
*FLASH* *FLASH* *FLASH*, "I got 'em! I got 'em!" *FLASH* *FLASH*

Wouldn't the flash have been a bad idea? I imagine it would dissipate any spectral visitors with its brightness.
try setting up a video instead, most encounters these days are caught on video.
So my phone died on me again today, but it wouldn't switch on this time or anything. having been left on charge all night. I got up late because, guess what my alarm is? I couldn't contact my brother who I was meeting up with, waited for him, couldn't check the time because, guess what my time checking device is, in the end I used my 3DS which is still an hour behind for some reason. saw he was late, wondered why couldn't contact him, had no idea what to do. But he did show up, and of course he said he had text me, but of course I didn't know that.
I got fed up and purchased a new phone, a Sony Xperia M2 or something like that, certainly larger then my old Xperia P. I figured, I can't keep having it go down on me when it's my only connection to the outside world, it was old and I had just been paid. Of course took pretty much all my money to get this new phone. I wanted to keep the pay as you go thing as it suits me down to the ground and we managed to keep my old number.
So my number is the same, but not much else was saved, there are pictures out in a cloud somewhere floating around, but where and how I can get them, I have no idea. I made sure to connect this new phone to my google account so everything should get backed up to there from now on.
All my contacts, calendar events, photos, sounds, apps and backgrounds were lost or indeed floating in a cloud (hopefully not causing too much rain somewhere)
If you have my number please text me, telling me who you are so I can add you all again quickly. (luckily I just recently copied my contacts into a little book, and my calendar events are on my physical calendar as well anyway.)
A) annoying, upsetting to go through this
B) bye bye money
C) Yey new shiney phone!!! (I'm trying to look at it as a reward to myself after these past difficult months and not just another problem I've had to deal with.)
