Re: Animal Crossing: New Leaf
Opening my gates in about an hour - cross posted on the chat box thingy too.
I'm having a METEOR SHOWER *excite*
so come on over if you want, i'll have my gates open as long as possible.
taken from Thonky:
If there is clear weather between 10AM and 11AM, a note might appear on the town's signboard announcing that a meteor shower will occur in the evening. Meteor Showers occur between 7PM and 4PM during the following times of year
How to Wish on a Star
During a meteor shower, press Up on the directional pad to look up at the sky. While looking at the sky, watch for a falling star. When you see one and hear the twinkle sound, press the A button. If you timed it correctly, the star will sparkle and make a noise. The next day, you will get a letter in the mail from Wishy. There will be a present attached with rare furniture.
I've invited my Regretsy friends over, too, so if you see people not from here.. well, they're from there.
I have 2 spare silver slingshots, too, if anyone wants them, and all fruits except persimmons and bamboo (though that's just a matter of time lol)

Re: Animal Crossing: New Leaf
So, I want to catch a snail, and the only way to catch them is on a bush in the rain. My village doesn't have any bushes. Apparently you can buy them from the gardening shop, but Leif never seems to sell them...
Is there a particular shop upgrade I need to wait for before he starts selling them?

Re: Animal Crossing: New Leaf
You can get those bushes as saplings from the island shop, I think for about 5 medals.
Also if you want an ant I have some around a rotten pear in my town.
Leif usually sells you two flowers a sapling and a tool. It is only when nooklings expands so much it takes in the gardening place that Leif starts selling more things like bushes and persimmons...

Thanks Bex, I've got an ant.
The only other thing I'm having issues catching is a saddled bichir fish. Apparently they're impossible to find in Diaville!

I caught one of those just yesterday! They're not very common though...
