Also if any aussies are interested - looks like Target will have X and Y for 49 bucks, if you can't get it anywhere cheaper.

Embargo was broken first in Canada and it spread quickly, just hasn't reached Aus so we have to wait another 12ish hours lol.

Yes, I've already started the game, of course and I'm really really enjoying it.
There's lot of new stuff/apps to explore so the first 1 or 2 hours was spent at these, There's even a Poké chat to talk to our friends
The visual graphics are really great and there's lot of pokémons to catch in the first grass you stumble. I already caught a Pika Pika Pikachu .

I bought the game for 40€, the usual price for 3ds games, here in Portugal.

Slightly off topic, but seeing this is making me wonder - has anyone got a USD price for the game? It's interesting seeing the prices people are paying in different countries and comparing...

For example - cheapest I found it in the uk was £39
44 AUD at today's exchange rate is equivalent to £26
€40 at todays exchange rate is equivalent to £34

I know that cost if living is different in the different countries etc, but there's quite a difference between Europe and Aus!


I'm hoping mine arrives while I'm at work today so I can play later tonight, if not, I'll be waiting by the door tomorrow morning

The Australian dollar is quite low against the British pound and the American dollar. We are excessively overcharged for stuff here in Australia, particularly games and music. Another example is a single song on iTunes sets us back, on average $2.19 compared to .99c everywhere else! It sucks It sucks hard...

39.99 here in canada aswell

I have to work all day tomorrow, which suck, but then i can play as soon as i get home since my bf will be going to pick up our copies! SO excited, only 1 sleeps!
