I got my bachelors degree in international communications, major in Japanese, since last june, but I still work in a supermarket as there are no jobs available that require a person who speaks Japanese, oddly enough :D
Still I love the job I have, the hours are great and the pay too, so I'm not very activally searching for something better.
And also, the fact that i can speak Japanese has been quite helpfull these last few years. Especially when final fantasy 13 came out 3 months earlier in Japan than in Europe. I just couldn't wait another 3 months so I played the Japanese version and the fact that I actually understood most of it was very satisfying. Still played the Pal version after that too, too fill in the blanks.

Nice topic !

Your job sounds too cool Digitlanalog haha !!!

I make environmental studies... air / water / soil pollution, noise, theses kinds of things :)
I often work on my computer, but sometimes go outside to make some measurements, or to learn about our customers job...
Otherwise, I've already worked in a bank (for data compilation), as a baby sitter, and in a chocolate biscuits factory (on the production line).

This random forum was a good idea. It's nice to find out a bit more about people :nod

I'm a mechanical engineer, as of this past summer when I finished uni. I'm now one of only about half a dozen women in our office of ~100. Most of the guys don't treat the girls any differently, though, so it's ok. But most of them don't know I've started stitching - I'm waiting to make something really cool I can put on my desk and be proud of!
Current projects: 'Heroes' sketch, experiments with surface embroidery.

I have worked in restaurants, two grocery stores, three warehouses. The warehouse jobs were through a temp service. I am currently unemployed right now. Right now it seems I started a business making people cross stitch pictures. I made one for somebody and now going to start another one for somebody. I told a friend that got me some work that my business was growing.

I used to work as a geologist doing environmental impact reports/cleanup of toxic spills on groundwater and soils...

Now I teach physics and math in high school.

Retail. Minimum wage. Only thing good about it is that I have a job, which has been the case for every job that I've had. At least I have a decent boss and get along with my coworkers well enough, just hate all the crap that comes along with the environment.

Stock Supervisor in an independent Book shop, for a few more months at least. Shop will most likely be closing in a few months unless someone takes over the shop or we manage to move to a new location.

Probably equal parts Bernard and Manny I think...

(Fun Fact: My admin password at work is the same as Manny's favoured password at Goliath Books)
