Thinking of getting a 3DS XL

I've never had anything but my ps1 and ps2 and I'm thinking of branching out... any suggestions or advice? I was thinking a legend of zelda and pokemon game to start but would love recommendations

I've got professor Layton and kingdom hearts on the 3ds. Great to use spare time for.

I like the ace Attorney series, but haven't played the latest one yet.

I ended up buying it xD i was going to lay by it in case it went down in price bc of eofy butvit ended up being $50 cheaper in store so I figured stuff it, I want it nao. Currently waiting for it to update Dx wish i knew how much data the update uses though

The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds is one of the best DS games I've played and might even be my favourite Zelda game. If you're a fan of A Link to the Past I can't recommend this game enough.
