It is almost time for a convention I have been super excited about doing for almost a year now, Gen Con. It is a chance to see a new city, bring some of my friends from Canada, and debut Craft Hackers to a new area! I can't wait!
If you are anywhere near the Indianapolis area, this is a convention that you shouldn't miss. Even if you can only attend one day, it will be worth it. I will be in Exhibitors Alley with the Craft Hacker team. I will post the times of each day and a map to our booth in 2 weeks. Yes, the convention is only 2 weeks away!
The most exciting thing is we will also be bringing the Crafty Thinking panel to Indianapolis. So if you are planning on going to the convention, the details for the panel are:
Crafting Thinking SEM1462731
Friday 6pm-7pm
Crowne Plaza: Pennsylvania Stn C
It is a free panel but there are only 80 spots. Gen Con likes everyone to sign up for panels ahead of time in order to make sure there is room if you would like to attend. So to sign up head over here: https://www.gencon.com/events/62731 (you may have to create an account or sign in). If you want more details on Gen Con in general you can find them here: http://www.gencon.com/.
There is also a very high chance I will be going out to dinner after the panel with anyone that would like to join me.

So for Sprite Stitchers what does this mean? I have already had 2 people ask if they can bring their charity squares to me at Gen Con to save time and money. YES. I may not be at the table a lot (networking for Craft Hackers and panels), but even if I am not there you can give it to someone that will be at my booth, which will be anytime the vendor area is open.
