Video Game homes?

Post by tnitnetny »

So I have decided to start making throw pillows for conventions. I am going to start with the "home sweet home" theme. So far I have 3 ideas:

Mario 1 castle
Mario 3 castle
Tardis

What are some other video game, pop culture, or geek homes I could use? Ideas? Obviously I got the idea and the mario castle from everyone hear at the forums.

Good idea, but unfortunately too complicated for an embroidery. Even the simplest drawings need way too much detail to understand that it is serenity. That is exactly what I am trying to think of though, stuff like that!

edit: But that just gave me a great idea!! The enterprise is recognizable enough with very little detail. Now to find a simple clip art that can convert to embroidery. Anyone have one?

The pattern for this Enterprise was simple but clear. viewtopic.php?f=7&t=5181&p=46483&hilit=towel#p46483

Looks nice, but I need a clip art or picture I can convert. My embroidery program doesn't like ones that have already been sewn, it makes them all funky. I found a great one. Could someone clean this picture up for me to just show the enterprise? I can work with this one but suck at photoshop.

edit: I am actively looking for good ones of the Millenium Falcon and the Deathstar too. :D

If the edge is too rough, let me know and I can probably get it cleaner.

Since I'm far too cheap to buy the pattern off Etsy, I'm making my own 'home sweet home' pattern with the main characters' house in Pallet Town from the Pokemon Red/Blue games. I wanted some of the background since it's going to be a cross stitch pattern, but here's the image I'm working with if you're interested.

Yay funky monkey, that is perfect!!! Thanks! Also thanks ally! I may do one of the pokemon house and see if it sells. If it does, I can always make more.

How is this for a deathstar? I couldn't find a picture I liked so I drew one myself.

Now to find one for the millenium falcon. I may have to give up on that one though. I may ask someone to just draw me one. Any other ideas for houses?
