Sprite Stitch Board!

Hi everyone!

So I've seen Mario crocheted using granny squares, among other different patterns for crochet and I was wondering... does anyone have a source for any granny square Pokemon characters, particularly Pikachu? I thought about making my own, but there's just some sort of block in my brain where I can't quite get it started or figure out how to get it right. Any help/ideas?

I make rugs from crochet and I get my patterns/ideas from perler bead projects/patterns online. I've only made Mario things so far, but my next project is going to be something Pokemon and if you look at perler bead art, some are so simple there are just a few colors, and you can see each perler bead, which would be one square in your pattern. The patterns here are good too, if its a simple one and doesn't have too many colors/details. In my signature, you can click and see the Mario rugs I've made. The Bob-omb idea came from a perler bead pattern.
