Crochet pattern NES controller - Please help

I have tried 30 different ways to do this & have not been able to figure it out for myself. Help please...before I cry...again...

I want to make an crochet afghan of a NES controller. I would like to do it in granny squares, like the beautiful 8-bit Mario Afghan. I have the picture of the controller:

Alas, the squares are too small to translate to 3 or 4 inch granny squares. I don't need an 11ft square afghan!

I only need it to be the 5 colors - black, white, dark grey, light grey & red

I would like the finished project to be around 4ft x 7ft with granny squares of about 3 or 4 inches.

Also I would like world peace, a million dollars & 3 more wishes!

What is the resolution that you need?

How's this? It is 7 x 3 feet big if you make it using 3 inch granny squares. The black and red lines are backstitching, but you may be able to get a better result if you work it out yourself. The limitations of the pattern program meant I couldn't write it in small enough and had the miss off the start and select words. Hope this is want you wanted.
